The solution triggering and warning of a lockdown alert
Within public facilities, the GSM control box not only enables to trigger lockdown alerts, but also to warn emergency services and other facility managers.
Triggering lockdown alerts via phone call
In addition to an Harmonys or Melodys installation and connected to the SIGMA master clock on its external inputs, the GSM control box triggers a lockdown alert via a phone call from a fixed or mobile authorised line (configuration to be made beforehand in the GSM control box). Then, the alert is broadcast on Harmonys, Melodys or SIGMA Sound PA systems.
Warning discreetly emergency services that an alert has been triggered
When an alert has been triggered, the GSM control box enables to send a warning message to all pre-registered phone numbers (emergency services, local authorities, mayors, school principals, etc.). To ensure proper alert broadcasting, it is possible to enter up to 5000 phone numbers !
